Biography
| I am a huge fan of photography. My love for it began when I became the "family picture-taker" and explored the world of possibilities. I slowly am becoming better with my shooting and editing skills as I carry alongside with me my new Sony digital point and shoot camera. It's a great camera but I soon hope to purchase a better one with more bells and whistles as they say. With practice, I will hopefully attain my life dream of becoming a National Geographic photographer where I can travel around the world doing what I love and witnessing some of the most amazing things in this world. I have been recently trying to involve myself in as many art courses possible to fine tune the basics needed as a photographer or an artist at least. From my first digital camera (Canon's PowerShot A60) to my 7.1 MP camera, I have spent hours on end improving my skills while attaining new ones. I own my own laptop which I use to edit my photos with as I am a recent fan of photo-manipulation. I use Adobe PhotoShop CS2 and feel I have merely scratched the surface of its capabilities. As I wiggle myself into the world of art, I hope to become noticed and keep on moving up the ladder to achieve my goals. In the end, all that matters to me is that I have a fair chance to do so, I continue to love whatever I end up doing, and that I make enough money to live off of comfortably. Overall, I've always been a creative kid and for that I consider myself lucky in some respect over those who dislike art due to their inability to not only mentally push themselves to their limits, but because they become bitter and frustrated before they even think of what they are capable of. If you want something in life, you don't stand on the sidelines. It's silly to say, but I'm a tiger and art is the deer. When a tiger is hungry and he sees his food, he gets it! He chases down that damn deer, consumes it, and waits for the next meal. I keep this in mind as I chase the deer down, but will I ever catch it? Who knows. As for the chase, it has merely just begun... |

Awards
- 3rd Place @ my local library's "Movement Is Life" photography contest as the only kid entry out of many adults. I snapped a picture of my friend doing a trick off his skateboarding ramp.
- 2nd Place @ my high school's photography contest. Out of 192 submissions, of which 10 were mine. "Mrs. Visionary" is the photo that won the place in the top 3 for me, and thus winning myself $30 as well.
